When I returned from Vegas last fall, I wondered how I did so well at the Blackjack tables. Was it luck? Or did I bet in a manner that improved my chances for coming out ahead? Lord knows I don't count cards, and probably never will. I play to enjoy myself, but what I really enjoy is winning! So I set out to create the Blackjack simulator you see above.
Remember that I do not want to count cards, only gain some insight into how various betting methods effect the financial outcome of a game that I am almost certain to win only 45% of the time at best. Could there be a way to minimize losses, even though I know there are more losses than wins (typically).
Here are the key features of the Countless Methods Blackjack game:
- Keeps a record of you Blackjack session and displays the results in a graph
- The graph looks like a stock market style bar chart, showing gains and losses
- The graph remains hidden during game play and can be accessed by the silver tab on the right
- When viewing the bar chart, you can apply some built-in betting methods, or your custom method
- The strategy you choose goes back through the hands played and shows you what "could have been"
- Autoplay and Autobet mode lets you generate up to 360 hands very rapidly
- Autoplay removes any emotional decisions by strictly using the well known strategy card
- Autobet removes any emotional decisions by flat betting all the hands at the amount you specify
- Running betting methods against Autoplay/Autobet data provides consitent results
- You can play the hands manually if you wish
- The house rules are very similar to Vegas Strip.
So the game I created lets you play Blackjack just like most games, nothing special there. But where it really comes in handy is trying various betting methods again and again and again. I am not saying that you will become a better gambler or discover a way to beat the house every time. Lets be realistic. What I do know is that certain betting methods appear to be very successful under certain conditions.
Please take a moment to play the game, try the Autoplay and AutoBet features, apply some betting methods to your results, and let me know what you think. I encourage you to create an account on our web site so you can post your comments to the bulleting board. This also gives you access to the custom betting code generator, where for $10 you can develop your own betting method for use in the game.
Please note that there is no gambling of real money in the game or anywhere on this site. Optional payment is strictly for analysis and simulation of Blackjack wagering methods.
